Well, it has been a while has it not?
Well first thing first! We finally heard the final songs for The Split Up's S/T seven inch and boy oh boy do they sound amazing! We are very happy with the outcome and cannot wait to have the final product in our hands! This should be at the plant sometime next week! Once we approve the tests and have the final product we will put it up for pre-order! They are playing some shows in the Vancouver area so you better check them out!
Second! Pulley has been working on some new material!
Third! If you are in the Edmonton area there are a ton of shows coming up! Our friends The Old Wives are releasing a CD and The Blame It's are releasing a LP featuring what is rumored to be their best work yet! Check out their respective sites for tour dates and other news surrounding those two bands!

Happy New Year Punks!
Well its been a while since our last update so whats new? Well The Split Up's head into the studio TOMORROW to record some smash hits for the 7 inch we are doing with them! It will feature 4 songs on colored vinyl, the digital download card will have 5 songs, and you can download the album on iTunes and Amazon when the time comes. It will also be available thru Scratch Distro in Vancouver and Interpunk.
Also, if you are in the California area PULLEY is playing some shows with Strung Out.

Hey Gang!
Let's start out with saying congrats to Robert W. for winning the Pulley test press from Vinyl Collective! 15 Minutes ago, we put everyone who pre-ordered / ordered names into a hat and Nicholas M. has won a copy of the test press! We will be getting that in the mail shortly to him! You still have a chance to win the last test press in the wild on Vinyl Vlog sometime in the near future.
We thank everyone for the support we have received on our first release, and the tips, and the criticism it has helped us pre-pair for the next release's on our little label!
If you are ordering a copy of this LP for Christmas, please remember we are in Canada the cut off to possibly have this in time is TONIGHT (Dec 3rd)! You can still get some from Nerd Alert Records or Interpunk or Vinyl Collective.
So whats next? Back in August we mentioned the addition of Vancouver's The Split Ups to our menu, fronted by Nick Newtown (from New Town Animals) and three brothers bringing you snotty pop punk or pop punk in general. We are in the process or pre-pairing the kitchen for this release, and we are getting all the ingredients in place to do so, it should feature 3 or 4 songs. We are in the process of getting bands together for our 7" compilation Dishwasher Melodies.

What's next for us in the kitchen! Well, we are planning our next two 7 inches, we are planning a 10 inch, and a 12 inch! However I cannot tell you who they are, until we are in the process of getting them pressed, cause then we create no more disappointments then we have already created. We have made the decision not to release anything that we do on compact disk! We will still distro a few, however all our future vinyl releases will also have a download card, you will be able to get them at iTunes as well.

Sorry it has taken almost 15 days to make a page update. We have been busy with your orders, and working on our future projects! We have some more distro stuff coming soon to our store, we just again have been really really busy!
We are working on a 7 inch release and a CD release and another 12 inch release for the new year, we promise you wont be disappointed! More details to come when we know, exactly what is going on. We also did a interview with our local paper in the town or I guess city we live in. It should be published next week.

Hello everyone!!!!!
Today the vinyl version of PULLEY'S Time Insensitive Material comes out today in stores! Well, the ones who replied to our emails, and ordered anyway! You can still get your copy here on our site just click the store link above! You can also get it at Interpunk, Vinyl Collective, and Nerd Alert Records. We have a few more places that have ordered from us, we will post them here when they receive the album!
Pulley will also have copies available at future shows. The first of which is October 8th with No Use for a Name and the Mad Caddies. Show will be at Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara California.
We cannot thank you guys enough! We thank you all for the positive emails we have received in the past few weeks of people who have received copies of the album!
Not to put a damper on a great day, however this last week has been the hardest week we (Andy and I) have had to deal with! We lost a good friend and mentor to our label last Thursday evening, and another good friend of ours was hurt while racing in Terre Haute Indiana! While we mourn the loss of one friend we hope for the recovery of another, he has been hospitalized in Indianapolis. He is a Canadian, he is not insured in the United States. This being said, we have put forward any extra money our label had so we can get our friend the care he needs. We will not release anything until the new year or maybe December at the earliest.
Please keep posted here for future news, we will update once a week as we always do! We will have some stuff filling up our distro store shortly as well!

If you have to send a money order please email us FIRST! We will get you the total cost of the product and shipping and how to get the money order to us. We will hold a copy for you until your money order arrives, you have 15 days for us to receive your money / mail order before we put it back in inventory. SORRY NO CHECKS
Your orders will be shipped via Canada's postal system which is overpriced. However if you order it from us, your copy will be shipped out before online retailers even receive inventory.
International Orders! please email us before ordering, your order will have to be shipped Canada Post as well, it will be sent air, please wait 4 to 6 weeks for delivery sometimes they arrive quick, sometimes not.

Happy Monday Punks! Here is your weekly Lunch special update!
Pictured above is....... you guessed it! This is what the PULLEY packing will look like! It's gonna be gnarly guy's and gal's! It's gonna be up for pre-order very very soon! If you pre-order it from us, here in the kitchen you will receive it before the online retailers get it to ship out! The release date is expected to be October 1st however if you pre-order it here your copy will ship way before that! Sounds awesome! Remember, there will only be 500 of these and that's it, no re-press on black, no second pressing no nothing!
Also don't forget, the "A" side of this album is gonna cook slowly at 33 RPM and the "B" side is gonna speed up the process at 45 RPM and trust me, it sounds amazing! We have also been asked why did we do that? Simple, it was to long to put on a 7 inch, so it was gonna go on a 10 inch. Then I thought it would be cool to put it on a 12 inch and spin the "A" at 33 and the "B" at 45 and its like getting two copies for the price of one! We are also including a black and white insert with lyrics and band photos.
Test Pressings........ Lots of questions and emails on "How Much?" "How Many?" and "Why Not?". To be honest folks, I'm not out to make hundreds off your hard earned money just for test pressings, so we only had 5 done. The band received a copy, we are keeping one on file the other three are gonna be used in contests. If you pre-order from us we are going to just put it in one of the first 200 pre-orders. The other two will be announced shortly I promise. Also a note all our test pressings that will be given away have about 3 plays per side on them! This was to ensure the final product sounds great and is consistant.

Happy Monday! With the news of our first release out in the open, we have some other news for you! The record, at last decision will have the A - side play at 33 rpm and the B - side play at 45 rpm! It's the same songs (Double "A" sided) so we hope this makes the record more unique that's for sure!
In other news that's not really too important, we are working on our very own 7 inch compilation series titled "Dishwasher Melodies" the first release will be sometime in spring of 2010 and the first part of that series will be sub titled "TALES FROM THE DISH PIT" bands will be posted later on in the new year as I am trying to lock up enough material for a four part series!

Hello everyone out on the internets today! First its been a very exciting last few months and we are pleased to finally tell you about some things going on here in the kitchen (and maybe some things we shouldnt)!
With out further delay we are pleased to welcome a band that many of us have listened too at one point in our lives! Please put your forks down as we serve you, some of Simi Valley California's, PULLEY! We will be pressing their recent release "Time Insensitive Material" on a 12 inch LP Double 'A'...... side record!! We are glad to have PULLEY in the kitchen with just the right amount of seasoning it should be out of the kitchen and on your plate in October 2009! You will be able to order and pre-order it here and we are just firming up which online re-sellers will stock it, for more information on the release, just click here or the releases button at the top of the page!
In other news our friends over in Spain DAYLIGHT just got finished a summer tour! You can check out the pictures on their myspace ! We will also have some of their latest release in stock on those compact disk things shortly!
We are also pleased to announce we have added Vancouver and surrounding area sensations THE SPLIT UPS to our roster! Professional Olympic pop punk vocalist Nick Newtown (duh! from the NEW TOWN ANIMALS) and three brothers have paired up to bring you hit's your ears need to hear! They have played a few shows in the Vancouver area and have some coming up! Make sure to check them out! We are in the early stages however with just the right amount of salt I hope to have a 7 inch in your freezers by December or January! Welcome to the Whens Lunch Records website!! We are pleased to slowly be moving forward with this label after many months of hard work to get even to this point!
We are getting ready to announce our labels first release real soon! Most of our labels releases will be available on limited pressed vinyl all 12 inch and 10 inch records will have one time MP3 download cards inside them! Also all our 12 and 10 inch releases will be available on iTunes Canada, USA, and Japan stores!!
Our 7 inch releases will always run 300 - 500 pressing with only 150 on color the rest on black! This will change from time to time, and will include a CD-R. Only a few releases will have MP3 drop cards or be available on iTunes!!
